Hi All...

Just finished cutting from one carrier to another...everything has been good so far with the exception of caller id. When a call goes out over the PRI it is showing Bridgecom International (old carrier). I've asked our new carrier One Communications to fix that and only show the number. They claim they did but it still comes up wrong. Is it possible that the Definity is sending out Bridgecom International? Could that be defined somewhere?

That is not something that your system can control. Your service provider needs to contact the national administrator for name/number correlation to get this resolved.

Bridgecom has not released ownership of your numbers in this database.

I don't know about the difinity switch but on the nortel as well as a few other system's there is a way for us to list the out going clid with a pri.
