Customer complains that weekly the VMail does not answer, either from outside or internally, they typically just hear dead air. Is the likely culprit the Partner Mail or the processor? And if the processor, does anyone have a revision to revision feature upgrade table or the like to help persuade them in making a decision? TIA.

Could be a hard drive on the way out.
If you try to access the voicemail, does it give you a ring no answer, busy signal or something else? Do you see any red or yellow LEDs illuminated on the voicemail module itself? Check to make sure that only the correct ports are assigned to Hunt Group #7.
If it is the hard drive, the Avaya Partner Messaging would be the current replacement.
