Customer has a partner acs rls.???? 5 - slot with card 1 - 308/ #2-012 #3- 308 proc. rls.??? #4-012 #5 - 308, problem, I think during a storm customer phones went dead, next day he looked at system and last card ( #5 - 308 ) had no green light, so he swaped it out with another 308 card he had, card lights up but all the phones are still dead, I go there today check unit, do system restart, same thing, phones not working, pull proc. and plug in direct, still phones not working, have dial tone to system, have two cordless phones hooked to system, ext.#-10 and ext.#-11 so they can get some calls but system phones dont work.???????????????

Sounds like the system got bit by lighting pretty bad.
After a lighting bite like that, you will need to go on site and evaluate the damage for yourself.

Could be any or all the cards and carrier.

If you pulled the processor, direct-connected the system telephones and still can't pull dial tone even after a cold start or system restore, I would guess that the processor (and/or more) needs to be replaced.

(Oops, Mike posted first).

Pretty much a no-brainer. Connect processor to power > plug phones into processor > some phones don't work > replace processor.

Thanks for all the quick reply's, I did all the above, took the proc. out and plug it directly into power cord, checked all 8 ports, phones dont come up, but green light on card is lit, plug proc. back into system all 5 cards have green lights but none of the phones light up or work ????? picking up new proc. on monday, but I was wondering why i still had all geer lights, never had that happen before, always no light or flickering.

Yeah, you can have a "green" light on the processor and it still not be usable.

I had same problem with one of my cust. processor. Green light but no phones.
Had to send it to Avaya. Avaya verified lightning damage, but customer wasnt happy that warranty replacement didnt kick in. System was only 2 month.
We now install Line surge protectors in addition to UPS.

We had the system pluged into a UPS, but who ever did the camera install moved it to the other side of the room to plug thier eqt. into ?????? I think the customer should go after them.
