I am having trouble programming Direct extension buttons on 18 button phones, can someone please explain how to do this ? Also I have two phones that when u go off hook with a phone they ring....Any ideas?

On each phone that you want to program: press FEATURE 0 0, the button you want to assign the Direct Extension to, the left INTERCOM button and then enter the extension. If you want to program more buttons, press the next button and continue on. When finished press FEATURE 0 0 to exit.
I'm not clear on the 2nd part of the question. Can you provide some more information?

how would i check to see if they are set to hotline or take it off? it is a customers phone system...Thanks so much for the help
