Have you actually witnessed this yourself? Can you duplicate it yourself or are you just going on what the customer is saying? It seems we have exhausted the known solutions as well as some that are really reaching.
I think it's time to put a digit grabber on the line to see what's really being dialed, that is if you can get it to misdial yourself.

would like to provide an update on this old topic...after I replaced the phone the customer had 1 misdial and called to let me know that the phone switch didn't help. However since that day he has not had any misdials. So I believe it was the set itself causing the misdials. Sorry for the runaround and thanks for the help.

make sure call forwarding isnt actitvated.. Had that problem once
