Greetings,
I need some help.
I have a customer with a Definity and my dialer/IVR.
The PBX is sending inbound calls via a PRI tie line to the dialer.

If my dialer's inbound IVR service is down, and the PRI is still up, we send a cause code - call rejected - back to the PBX. The customer needs the to setup the PBX to reroute the call if it encounters the cause code.

Can this be done and where does the customer look to set this up?

I hope this makes sense.

An additional question.

ISDN Network Call Redirection is usually set to N. If I have the customer set this to yes will that tell the G3 to send the call elsewhere if a call rejection is received on the D channel?

I believe that the external calls landing on PRI trunk is routed to an TIE line which is connected to the IVR/Dialer..

If thats true, ISDN network call re-direction will not help....

We can add another trunk group /TIE group in the route pattern as an secondary option for the TIE trunk between IVR and PBX...

The call will choose the secondary route by default when the primary is full or out of service...
