Hello all. I am working with a Legend R7 v11 with 007MLM (Merlin Legend Mail). From the AA, selector code 1 goes to group 772. Is there any way to have the vm pick up for group 772 if no answer without using a supervised transfer mailbox?

Any input is appreciated!!

Go to Extensions, Group Calling, Overflow

Send Group 772 to the Voice Mail calling group (770?), after X number of rings, set the calls to 99. Make a mailbox 772 with COS of 3 in the voice mail to receive the calls.

Thanks for the quick response! I have set group 772 to overflow to 5 (renumbered from 770) after 20 seconds and set number of calls to 99. I changed the COS of mailbox 772 to 3 however the call never seems to overflow to the VM, it will just ring continuously. Is there anything else I should check for? I have gotten this to work on a later Magix release but this one is leaving me scratching my head!

Thanks for the help!

I'm almost positive you can't Overflow Hunt Group(if 772 is a Hunt group) to VM box on Legend.

Are there any members in Group 772? If so, is the Group Type set as AutoLogin or AutoLogout?

For example, if 772 is an AutoLogout group without any members, then VM coverage will happen as expected.

If there ARE members in this group, then all will have to be logged out first (extinguish their ES2 status button). Otherwise the PBX "thinks" that members are available to take calls and overflow won't happen until all members are unavailable...even if you have constrained it for time.

If the group has members and is defined as an AutoLogin, then coverage will never occur.
