I just got done putting duct tape and plastic around the openings of my house....NOW!!! how do I get in????

Hey Mitch, Having served in the Army for 10 years, 8 months of that being in Saudia Arabia and Southern Iraq, I can tell you that the only thing the plastic and duct tape are going to do for you is lighten your pocket book. Whoever got the press to print that crap about duct tape and plastic probably owns alot of stock in 3M. Sorry Dude. Maybe you can resell it on Ebay!

Your doing it all wrong! You have to tape from the inside of the house. Personally, I'm having a problem trying to make the duct tape stick to the brick around the fireplace. And I haven't figured how to secure the heating chimney vent. If I close that up, I get no heat; or worse, carbon monoxide poisoning. Decisions, decisions.
Can I use electrical tape and phone wire?

Why cant they make some terrorist proofing plan that includes:
Tape
Cable Ties
Cat 5 cable
phone jacks
conduit?
I have so much of the stuff just sitting in my shop... (

Reminds me of the guys in flood areas who put sandbags 5 feet high around their yards only to be flooded by all the water that comes up into their houses through the sewer pipes!
