Had a Partner 6.0 repaired, got it back and line 1 rings but I can't hear caller...also, touch tones don't work (you can hear tones but the dial done doesn't stop).

Ideas where to look??

Did you change the phones?
Is it on all sets?
Did you swap lines to see if it follows line?

Check these things.

Well if the line is good incoming and you just had it repaired sounds like the place to look is who repaired it. Unless I'm missing something.

More often than not, it's better to just replace defective equipment rather than sending it out for repair.

Line 1 is going into PFT1 on the 6.0 module...is that correct? The word "lines" isn't next to that jack.

No Change in phones.
On all sets.
Line itself is fine.

Woah there!

The 2 jacks labeled "PFT" and 6 others below them are for connecting the telephone sets (extensions)...not the telephone lines.

But two of the jacks are marked"lines" not "extensions".

Arrrgh! It's connected right. Didn't we warn you about having stuff repaired in your first topic on this problem?

This is what you get for wanting cheap and doing things yourself. Get with a dealer in your area and get it done right. That is unless your business doesn't need phones.
