It seemed like a dumb question, but I couldn't find it anywhere. Thanks!

I'm working in a hotel with about 100 rooms with a Merlin Magix -don't know rel. 11 rooms had private lines, which were sharing the Magix system with the 2 Hotel lines. So people in these rooms could dial a 9 and get an outside line. There were complaints about front desk interfering in the middle of calls and billing issues.

I recommended separating the private lines from in-house phones, which they wanted restricted to in-house only. This was done.

Now customer is complaining they are getting busy signals when people trying to dial in to the hotel. They only have 2 lines (checked w telco) in the rollover group, to support the 100 rooms. Customer claims problem just started after I restricted the rooms. "It always worked fine until you worked on the system...." At first look-the only thing I can think of-w TT Tommy's help- is that somehow the 2 lines are being used more frequently for outgoing calls, which tie up the lines.

Suggestions?
