Hello Tommy,

I think he is making a mistake . Who in our days changing PRI to T1 and loosing all benefits comming with PRI? Usually Integrated T1 means conversion of any number of channals coming over the Loop inside the Router in full Voice & Data PRI. Integrated because its incorporated by One Router that have 2 RJ45s. One is Ethernet and another is T1/E1.

mistake on the customer's side or not, he said

We are changing to a T1/intergrated access with 10 channels of voice/PRI
It's still a PRI, just a fewer number of channels. Fewer channels, less money. The Integrated part is the CLEC using an Adtran Total Access IAD to use the full T1 bandwidth for Internet, reducing it when voice channels are in use.

Ask your CLEC which way they are going to do it on their side, and match them.

Leave the B-Channels alone as Tom suggested. Since a one-to-one correspondence DOES NOT exist between B-Channels and trunks, it won't hurt to keep that programming in place. Instead, simply remove 13 trunks from the appropriate end of of the hunt.

If you aren't sure which end to start from, experimentally remove a single trunk from one end of the Pool and then attempt to place a call FROM that trunk (there are a number of ways to accomplish that). If the call goes through, then the trunk is still "good". Put it back into the Pool and pull your 13 from the opposite end.

Dagwood - Sounds like a plan - leave the b-channels alone and just delete the lines from the pool. won't know till next month, when we convert - Thanks
