I have an ACS 3.0 processor that was upgraded from 1.0 in a 5 slot carrier with a 308c expansion module and Partner Mail VS R4 module. All extensions plugged into the Partner ACS module are good but the three extensions plugged into the 308c module will not program or at least not correctly. I reseated the modules and it did not correct the issue. I took a phone from a good working extension with the same programming and plugged it into the trouble ext and same issue so I believe it is not the phones. I was able to program a VM button from the trouble phones themselves that works now but the Auto line selection does not take and a DND button on one of them will not program centrally or locally. I am thinking its the 308c module since all three problem phones are on it and no good phones are plugged into it. I tested all cabling and it all test good, the infrastructure is solid. I also thought about the carrier being bad and maybe defaulting out the processor might fix the issue. I would appreciate it if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks in advance. J

Ummmmmm. Something doesn't sound right here, but anyway. Does the phones connected to the 308ec come up and have good DT, display, ect.? Have you swapped out the 308ec to see if that is you problem?

Try #399-10-18, then plug a phone in to 18 and see what it does.

Default it. If that doesn't work change the 308EC. If that doesn't work put the old 308EC back and change the ACS.

I never had them installed on anything less then r.6 Is upgrade procedure from r1 to r3 similar to later releases or does it require new processor? Sorry a little history lesson here.
