I am trying to get a Avaya door phone model LUUDS to work on the partner res 4.1 system. The system port works with a butt set. I haven't found any move info on this door phone. It has two dip switches which I am not sure what they do, however I tried all the combinations, still not working.

What programs have you done so far? You need to go into #606, #604/#605

I set #604, #606 and #301. I don't think it's a programming issue. Works with a butt set.

If you connect the door phone to a standard telephone line and push the button, do you hear dial tone

Is this a new box or used? Where did you get it?

It looks like the viking door phone without the interface. I tried changing the dip switches but I didn't disconnect it from the parter, so I don't know if that made any diffference or it needs to be disconnected. Does anyone have any idea as to what the dip switches control?

As I recall, there were 2 Avaya door boxes, LUUD and LUAD. They appeared identical from the front, but one required power. Is there a place to connect power? PM sent. John C.
