Basically, we want it to mimic a function called TAFAS used by Mitel. Simply put, it allows a user who has the option enabled in his COS to enter a code and pick up any call coming into the console at any time. We've tried directed call pickup, but it doesn't seem to work with the console. We've tried the TAAS code, *6, but the user gets a reorder tone after just entering in *.

We're really not sure where to go from here. Any ideas and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

(FYI we work together... obviously, I guess...)

Have you tried Attendant Overflow?
I am not sure of what Rev. levels it is available in.

In bcs-options set TASS as Y for day mode.
The attendant type must be priciple.

The back up voice terminals should have feature buttons for:
atd-qcalls
abrv-dial
atd-qtime
night-serv (1 only)
ringer-off
busy-ind

Using the TAAS code should work at that point.

Hope that helps!

Looks like BCS options are not available in this software release. 'Tis an old PBX. I may have to tell the client he's out of luck, unless someone has any other ideas.
