Hi its an avaya acs7.0 with an asa/dxd card installed and it has been working fine for the last several years. I get "no asa/dxd card" on ext 10 and the calls coming in go directly to music on hold without the system answer massage.
I tried to disconect the whole system and plug it back in but nothing changed. I pulled the card out and put it back in and nothing changed. I remember when I first installed this system I had this kind of a problem and it turned out that the pc card was no good, I installed a new one and it operated with no problem for 5 years.
Please let me know if there is a way to corect the problem or is it the card thats at fault and how can that be checked before I buy a new card.
Thanks for your help

Sure sounds like a bad ASA/DXD card.
Have you tried defaulting the ACS and reprogramming?
Also, what version ACS R.7 are you working with?
