Can anyone tell me if Embedded Voicemail on the IPO is capable of Remote Voicemail Message Notification? I am unable to find any reference to this particular feature in the manuals. It appears that the Voicemail Pro has this feature but not Embedded.
Am only on my third IPO install and still getting feet wet, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

If by "Remote Voicemail Message Notification" you mean outdialing, then no. However you CAN do voicemail to email or email notification. Most folks are good with this solution.

Yes, I was referring to outdial to a cell phone/pager.
Thanks for the info Mike.

Be mindful that most cell carriers have a method to convert email to SMS (text) message. Hence, you could use email notification and have carrier convert to text. For example, to email to a Verizon Wireless user, you'd use their cell number @vtext.com.
Some pager carriers have similar function.

Very good point! That could prove to be a useful 'workaround'.

Found this website to be useful for DuVoice notification to a new Apple iPhone via SMS (setting up MMS on the iPhone is a pain in the nutsack).

You can send from 50 to 185 characters, depending on the carrier. Cincinnati Bell represents the low end, while Quest and MetroPCS define the upper end.

See https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/email-to-sms/ but be sure to drill down for MMS links.
