I have a customer with a 2 year old Partner ACS 7.0 system. They called me to say that their system clock keeps changing.

We troubleshot and sure enough, we set the system time/date in #103 and within an hour or so, the clock jumps FORWARD 2 hours... exactly...

I thought maybe it was a glitch with the daylight savings feature or something.. but that would make it jump 1 hour one way or the other and should happen in April or October... but 2 hours.

I am stumped... so I thought I would pass on to this body of wisdom to see if any of you have had this issue before or can recommend something else to check.

Thank you...

On any display phone press FEATURE 59
What is the software release?

On the newer software, the ACS gets the time updates from caller ID. So if the provider is sending the wrong time, too bad.
Stoopid I know.

If the R7 is a late enough release, the automatic update can be turned off via programing.

Avoid the O rev - it loses 3 years on a reboot.

I will check the clock sync this week and confirm what version we are dealing with.

Thanks.
