Have a strange question about a Sat Terminal on our switch. The sat terminal seems to have bit the dust. Configured my Laptop to connect to switch. If I connect to Primary Spe or secondary Spe I launch ASA Emulation and get no login. Cursor just sits there, no response to key strokes. If I connect it to Any of my other cabinets I get a login prompt and can login and do what I need to do. I really don't use the SAT terminal very often. I go in thru my C-Lan. But if the network is down then the Sat is very much needed. Has anyone ever run into this type of thing?

No one?
Update: Recieved 3 new (used) Sat terminals. they will work on any EPN we connect them too. But nothing out of the PPN. Its like the terminal ports have just shut off on both the A and the B proc. Any Ideas would be great.

Issue a "status logins" to see if previous sessions using those ports got hung up.
Believe it or not, your best option is to reset the switch.

Dagwood thanks for the input, We have checked to make sure no one has logged in an hung up ports. Have even done a reset sys 1 with no help this morning. nest step will be replace the sys access maint board on SPE A. Not sure if that will help or not, Could be something dying a slow death on the board. we shall see.
