Avaya Partner ACS R5. Can a Secretary have a button programmed to forward her Boss's phone if he forgets to forward from his phone?

What forwarding are you talking about?

What my customer wants to do is have his secretary forward his phone to his cellphone if he forgets to forward it. She is located in a separate building on the company site. He wants her to have a button on her phone that can forward his extension off site.

If he forgets to press his programmed button on his set there really is much you can do about because his set controls it.

What you can do is set up a spare port as a single line and leave it forwarded to his cell that way if he forgets you can trans to the spare port and route his calls to his cell and just use it when he forgets to forward his own set.

ACS R5 doesn't support remote call forwarding, R6 and above does so I gotta ask, how are you forwarding?
