I was attempting an upgrade of a Legend R7 to Magix 4 R7 today. Used WinSPM 9, downloaded the programming, converted it, swapped CPUs and then had a problem. The Magix did a frigid start and was defaulted at this point. With the Magix CPU installed WinSPM reported an unknown card in slot 4. Slots 1-3 are 408 GS/LS/MLX cards and slot 4 is a 400 GS/LS/TTR and slot 5 is a MLM 007 R1. So I pulled the 400 card in slot 4, moved the MLM into that slot. Same problem in WinSPM. In fact even when I yanked all cards but the first 408 in slot 1 it still reported an unknown card in slot 4 even though the inventory showed it empty. What could be causing this? A board renumber(s) did nothing to help.
