What do i need to change to keep the incoming calls from being fowarded to an extension after 4 rings? It was fowarding to x110 til I took it out of group 30 so now it goes to x121 which is the next extension in group 30.

I have loopstart lines that ring all phones. All phones have group coverage in group 30. I do still want the transfered calls to an extension to go to voicemail after 4 rings.

This can happen only if your lines have a Principal user assignment or exts 110 and 121 are the VM ports and member of a Calling Group 770.

This happens because you do NOT have a Principal User assigned to the lines, and the lines are not in pools.

They will go the the mailbox of the lowest logical ID that has the lines assigned and has VM Coverage.

Assign the lines to an extension (even an adjunct extension), make sure it is NOT in the VM coverage group, and make it the Principal User for them.

If the lines are in a pool, assign them to an unused calling group, and they will ring forever.

Right, so the Principal User does NOT have voice mail coverage, which prevents them from following the coverage of the lowest Logical ID that has both the lines assigned to it AND voicemail coverage.
