Partner ACs R7.0 one module. Switch carriers from copper to cable/voice/data modem. System had been working fine. For a week no problems, call in and out etc. Customer finds he does not have carrier voicemail, that is supposed to come on after 5 rings. Their tech finds that the lines work ok when the ACS is disconnected. I don't believe this but after an hour or so agreed with them. When the number is called, switch ringback disappears after 5 rings, the ACS CONTINUES to ring forever , and the voice mail does not come on. It can be answered normally. I do not know if actual ringing is still on the line or take any voltage measurements this trip. Same results on line ports 1,2 and 4. The line is then put into a two line phone and works normally. The ACS REN is 0.9A and the two line phone 0.8B. The carrier says whatever I find his line characteristics cannot be varied and nobody but me in the whole world has had this problem.

I would check the loop current, on/off hook voltage, ring voltage ect. on the lines coming out of the cable company's modem?
By this problem starting when you switched carriers, I'm willing to bet the problem lies within the signaling from the cable co.
