Hi... I have a client that would like to have a rotating receptionist on a daily basis. I've gotten it to work somewhat by adding a "follow me here" and a "follow me cancel" button on each person's phone. It works for the most part, but it isn't consistent enough to have it as a permanent solution. Currently, the receptionist's extension (100) is inluded in the Main Hunt Group. The incoming call gets forwarded to whomever has the "follow me here" button activated. Problems arise when people have to switch during the day and someone else has to fill in. Sometimes 100 doesn't get forwarded properly. Is there a better way to accomplish this, or is it beyond the capabilities of the system (IP406v2 / VMPro)? Thanks for your insights.. Tom

Add all users to the main group. Give all phones a button to log in and out of the group.... DONE!!!

Mongo's suggestion is what we do. The reception "extension" is a hunt group. We simply have folks log in and out of the group. Clean and easy. Mike

Thank-you both...my IP Office skills are very rusty. I had a receptionist group already, but added the members who would be answering, then modified the "follow me here/cancel" buttons to "hg enable/disable" per your suggestions. I'm sure it will work well.
Thanks again.
