I have a acs 6,with pcsmall vm. whenyou call 777 or 78 79, you get a busy. I took out the vm card, took out the batteries to clear the system, and I still get a busy on ext 78,79. Thinking the problem was with the KSU, I put the vm card into my backup acs, now I have the same problem with it.Help

Sounds like you have a bad PCVM card.
I have only seen a couple of these go bad, but they sure can.

I figure that, I need to know if I can get the ext 78 and 79 on both ksu's back somehow. I have taken out the vm card, and backup batteries to clear the systems, but they still ring busy.

They will ring busy if X78 and 79 are not in hunt group 7 with a working PC card VM.

I have try it both ways, in the hg7 , and not in. Normaly if hg7 isn't program and you dial 78, or 79, the vm saids you are being transfer to the operator, but all i get is busy.

You will if your PC card VM is dead...........

And you should if you don't have a PC card VM in the ACS.

Back for what? If you don't have a PVM card in the slot what do you want them to do?

I have another pc small that i know works, but i am still getting the busy single on 78 79 777 even with the hg7 program, the bad card did something too the ksu ports. The customer needs a working vm system.

Never seen that one before.
Are you 100% sure that 78 and 79 are the only ext's in HG-7 and are you 100% sure that the PVM you have is good?

At this point i am not 100% sure of my own name, I am taking your advise, and getting a vm card, Thanks for your help

Also keep in mind that your ACS needs to be higher than a 1.0 for a R.3 PC card VM to work.
