I have this customer that has 32 users in one of the ICD groups, now he need to add 4 new extensions to that group.

I wonder if it is possible to solve this somehow, as the max number of extensions are to the best of my knowledge 32 in each ICD group.

do a common audible ringer that is assigned to that group and have people do directed line pickup.

Are any of the extensions portable stations? If they are then you can create a PS ring group, put all portable stations in that group, then assign that group to the ICD, and at the same time deleting the individual portable station extensions freeing up space in the ICD group.

If not, then it's time to sell them a bigger TDA!

32 is the max on all kxtda systems, If some of the members are on a delay ring you could overflow to them in a second ICD group or like county wide said put in a bell and a pick up button to answer the call or put a UCD button on the phones for pickup.

The TDA100/200 can have more than 32 members

Not on this side of the pond you can't. 32 members is max, per group. The 600 can have 128 per group.

For Europe: TDA15,30,100,200 and 600 can have 128 members. But standard is 32 members for 15/30. For change this setting you have to log in at the highest level (Company level).

Michel where is that, went in to higher level program and can't see where that is. I also checked 100/200 prog tool and that is also 32 as standard what suffix have you got

I only know of 3 different user levels and company isn't one of them. Where in the menu tree can you alter this setting?

I believe company would be for Panasonic Tech Support, I had this same question once for a TDA100. Tech Support said that they could give me more members in the ICD groups but that they would have to remotely dial in and allow that.

i know this is a silly question but who
has 32 phones ringing off the the hook unless this is a household!
Posted By: greebo Re: TDA-30 ICD Group members - 10/24/07 08:51 AM
It's a real estate agency, so it's almost a household. The ringing is silent for most of the extensions. But the owner wants this to be done this way and I have to find a solution to the problem.

As the TDA30 is full, all extensions used. The next step for him is to upgrade to TDA100 or some VoIP solution. If he upgrades to TDA100 I have to solve this anyway, as the ICD groups of the TDA100 only holds 32 members.

Tech Support can only get into company level...

94astro, you are right.
Ask Tech support for remote login and ask them to change this setting.

Well the customer is upgrading to TDA100, hopefully before the end of this year. So I think I'll wait with the ICD group changes until then.

Thank you for all your help and info about this problem.

Sorry but I forgot to post the solution to this problem. It is possible to change this using "sales company" level. Then under menu 3.5.3 there is a field that is marked "128 Extensions for ICD groups". Just check "enable".

Regards
