Type 734 cable provides a maximum DS3 distance of only 473 feet (440 feet if the DS3 is in STS-1 mode). Installing a dual interoffice DS3 repeater would increase the max 734 cable distance up to 900 feet. ADC has a wall mounted chasis that supports a single protected (or non-protected) IOR module.
