Hello.My customer purchased a used mics with a T1 card.I removed the card today terminated my tails and croos connected 3 co's...But I can't seem to get DT.they are set to ring and appear,loop start etc.But when grabbing a line I get dead air???Any help here would be great.Thanks

Are you grabbing a co line, or a line pool? what is the Prime Line set for?

I have 1 ds card in slot 2.I believe its grabbing line pool a.And not sure what prime line is set for?What should it be?Thanks

1st line card goes in slot 4.

If this was programmed for a T-1, you have a lot of programming to do.
You might be better off to do the STARTUP routine.
That should be in your installer guide.

If the you're grabbing Pool A, make sure there are some lines programmed into Pool A. Prime Line should also be set Pool A.
Otherwise, program lines to appear and ring on a button, and push the button to get dial tone.
All of this after the card is in the right slot, etc., as mentioned above.

Bunnie's correct,IMHO. Your customer probably has no concept of the MICS's capabilities, and more to the point, YOU have no idea what the previous owner's program was supposed to accomplish. What if the MICS was on a Flash? That was used as an AA/VM, as an example. What if it was arranged for massive numbers of outbound and no inbound, as in 'boiler room' operation. STARTUP is the only way to start from a 'known quantity'. John C.
