I have a 3300 ICP and cannot figure out how to make the message light call the voicemail when there is a message and the light is flashing. Any suggestions?

is your message waiting port in the same hunt group with the rest of the VM ports? If not gave MSW port a new COS exactly the same as your standard VM ports just turn on Perminent DND in your MSW port, put it in your VM hunt group and give that a try. Be advised you may run into other MSW waiting issues with phones that currently have a MSW when you make the change

How do you retrieve your messages now?

We retrive the messages now with a speed dial button that calls the voicemail.

We have had issues with this before .
What I found is that if you have 4 vmail ports in the system and you take the last one and use it as a rad , it messes with the voicemail message wait lamp.
- always leave the last port as part of the voicemail hunt groyup and it works ok.
- we normally assign the first ports as rads and leave the last ones as voicemail to stop this problem
