Nails, Sorry for delay, airlines canx my return flight. Right now, I am basically attempting a trunk - to - extension config. Intent is to provide each remote location dialtone from the PBX. I programmed/wired the pbx for Type 1/2W em. Here I interface into a cisco 2600 series router with a (Analog EM) Voice Interface Card (VIC) to a cisco 3500 series which traverses a wireless bridge connection into a 2600 on the far end. The far end drops 2 analog ports via(FXS)VIC. I was sort of limited because vendor paid & shipped routers and em trunk cards. I leaning with you in that i think I may just need 4 analog tn's (AMWC card) and perhaps replace the em voice interface card on the front side making standard and should do the trick. Still attempting to get the planner's thoughts on the config/design. I also asked him if users will eventually want to dial into these remote locations. Maybe the routers require the em config which would require changing to em vic's on the far end. Thanks....tw
