I've worked on a couple of them and they seem to be nice systems that are comparable to most systems in the same category as far as features and reliability. :thumb:

DW, there is no KX-TD 824.
Are you referring to the KX-TA824 which is a nice little analog system.

I prefer the digital. Few bucks more for TDA50, phones are cheaper with more features.

I don't pay much attention to the numbers and letters until I have to. I knew which system he was asking about..... I think. :rofl:

If I'm not mistaken, the 824 does not support Panasonic's cell sites and 7680/7690 cordless phones... The kxtaw848 does support these units. The 848 is also a small analog system and has all of the usual Panasonic features, as far as reliability, we installed a bunch when they first came out ('03?) and we've had no problems with hardware failure at all. So if you're gonna go analog I don't see why you would choose the 824 over the 848.
