Supervised transfer vs. blind transfer.
Supervised transfer will tie up the voice mail port the entire time of it answering, transfering, ringing the extension for xx seconds, and then pulling the call back to the mailbox and leaving a message. If your voice mail system is being used as an auto attendant or receives a lot of use, then you would need to consider adding additional vmail ports.
