Our receptionist left so I need to transfer our main receptionist line to another station.
The phone will ring for 6 times and if no one picks up it will go to the another user' station till we hire our new receptionist.
We do not want to use call forwarding. Anyone knows how to do that? Thanks Sn

Whats wrong with call forwarding? Setting a call forward temporarily would probably be the perfect solution for this.
What type of system is this for?

Usually call forwarding will ring only once and forward the call immediatly. Is there anyway to setup the call forwarding so it will ring like about 6-8 before it transfer? We are using Strata CTX100

Absolutely, take a look into your user guide, there are several different call forward feature codes that you could use for this.
