Old blond hippity hopping Bunnie Member Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 3,869 Los Angeles, CA	I seem to remember that a single line is limited in speed to (I think and don't quote me) 22K, so if they have a fax that will work at 56K, you will get about 40% of that speed on the 100. Older faxes used to max out at 14K but now that the new version faxes can talk to each other much faster, the Samsung looks crippled in speed. I would guess that is the problem. And, if you are sending to an old 14K machine, the speed would be identical on the POTS and the 100. THE Bracha, old blond specialist in Rube Goldberg solutions.
