Client has a Samsung DCS with Cadence voicemail.
System went totally down.
Had to replace both power supplies(PSU-60)and the programming was wiped out.
Of course, the cadence has the red light of death on, so I will need to replace that as well, but I have another issue.
There are two cabinets.
The digital station cards are in the first cabinet. The single line set cards, the cadence, and the trunk cards are in the second cabinet.
I am going through the reprogramming and it is as if the Samsung does not see the second cabinet all the way.
I go through and status the stations, but when I get to where the system should give me the extensions on the second cabinet(the single line units), it goes right back to the first station on the first digital card.
The system DOES see the trunks somewhat as I can program them onto the system, but there is a problem there as well.
When I try to access a trunk, I get dead air. When a call comes into the system from the outside, it rings, the caller sees the call connect, but no one can here one another. The CO lines work off the system fine.
I try to program the cadence extensions into group 529, but it tells me invalid extension.
I have a DID card as well in the second cabinet. I programmed that up, but when a DID call comes in, the system does not seem to recognize it and sends the call to operator group 500.
I have tried to use MMC 806 to get the system to recognize the cards, but no dice.
I am familitar with the programming, but do not have any real experience troubleshooting the hardware besides the Cadence and the power supplies. I am wondering if the processor is malfunctioning or if the cards connecting the cabinets are not work, etc.
ANyone have any suggestions?
