I suppose I must ask this; Will AVAYA certify any "after market" parts installed.
I think they used to, especially if by doing so they were able to add those parts to their maintenance agreements.
But I am such a Dinosaur, those arrangements maybe long gone.

had a customer that just did that, cust had a pro-logix, had added a cabinet and six circut packs since they had installed in 2000, had trouble w/audix, called avaya out , they put him back on a maintenance plan , with all packs & telephones added to it, he had been off a maintenance plan for 4 years before that
