Okay, so I know this is a pretty weak topic. I'm actually bringing it up for two reasons.
One reason is that I'm pretty picky. I hate seeing a black phone with an ash handset cord. I don't even like seeing a flat black phone with a glossy black handset cord.
The other reason is because I'm wondering if anyone has laying around a handset cord board in good shape that they'd want to part with. I was trying to match a couple colors the other day, and a guy in our office said he had an old Adirondack one, but then it turned out he wasn't able to find it. I want to order in some cords that more closely match the phones we stock and sell, but I want to see some samples. Sometimes charcoal isn't always charcoal. And a lot of the time, you don't know whether a cord is a flat color or shiny color.
A lot of this I can get from Sandman, but I'd prefer if I could source most of them from our regular suppliers (Gray-something-or-other and something upper-region supply).
Go ahead an beat me up on the topic. Like I said, I know it's a weak thing to be discussing.

Express communication supply in Boco. Let me know if you need the number. They will send you a sample board with like 3 inch pieces of all the colors they carry (a-lot) they sent me one. Mark

Yup, I have a sample board from Adirondack Cable (got it from them) and I order through Famous Telephone. Any color you would need as well as shiney or flat to match the original.

ASI (800-338-4833) will sent out a sample board. All they really do is cords, so you would be fine with them. They are located in Missouri.

That's a tough one. Why would you need a colored line cord? Haven't seen those since before the modular days. Anyway, Adirondack or ASI may be able to help.
