What's "AA on hold"? Are you talking about message or music on hold? If so that has nothing to do with the messaging system.

You may want to look into its CAS abilities. CAS basically works like a personal answering machine. People can leave messages or transfer to the operator or other extensions. Sounds like that is what you are looking for.

I think that the OP is after a feature offered on some systems where a caller who is on hold or in queue can dial a digit to get out. That feature is not available on Partner.

What i Wanted to find out was once Auto attendent answers the call can it be programmed to place call on hold and stay on hold or in que

Nope, it can not.

Partner ACS doesn't do queuing.
Don't know the size of your system, but if it is a small set-up you might be able to use the ASA/DXD card for the Partner systems.
