Can someone give me the key strokes to put an overhead page button on a merlin set on a legend.

It will be #9 and then the trunk number that is being used for paging.

It works as icm,#950 manually, only one phone doesnt have a button to page
how do I put this on a button ?
Tried *20,*21,*22,*23,*24 and all error after 9

Is that a dash or pause between 9 and 5 ?

that's just my way of pointing out that the #9 part is the pickup code, and 50 is the trunk that you are picking up.

So you're going to slide the T/P switch to P, press the button, dial #950, and slide the T/P switch back to the center.

It takes the #9 and waves me off when 5 is entered.

The display on the set shows 50 when making a page.

would it e easier to enter with laptop and hyperterminal ?

You'd need WinSPM, not just Hyperterminal. Does the system have an MLX-20L phone for the Operator, that you can do system programming from?

I have spm there are no digital sets in system
all cards are Atl
I will give it a shot with laptop.
