Does anyone know what adaptor I need to access Administration programming on the legend's 8 conductor jack? I have an USB to 9 pin male but can't seem to convert that to the right 8 conductor for administration. Any help greatly appreciated!

Thank you for answering. I'm apparently confusing some connectors. I have a female version of above, but the only 25 pin I have on my laptop is a Printer port. There's also 9 pin and usb on laptop, and I did find a usb to 9pin, now trying to successfully convert that to 8 conductor. Hopefully I'm not misidentifying the Legend. There are only 8 conductor jacks for admin access.

We use a keyspan USB to serial converter with 9 pin male, 9 pin female to 25 pin male cable, 335AF and 8P8C straight though cable.
Works great.

USB is Universal Serial Bus and the craft port on the Legend is RS232. You can't just make a cable up to connect the two. :nono: You need a converter as Mike points out.
