I was trying to acceses a used MsgR7 W/Partner 18D, R7 replied with options in Test Mode. I read where the Port Card was to blame, and reseating/power cycle did not help. I connected by hyperterminal & rs232 to change the IP address, and saw an option to RESTART. I chose the RESTART and after 10 minutes or so, I777 no longer replied in TEST MODE. It was worth a try!
