Hello everybody
I'm involved in the process of removing a PRI trunk from a trunk group in our Avaya G3siV6. We are going from 3 PRI to 2 PRI.
Is this attainable by removing the soon to be removed PRI ports from the group member assignments in the trunk group configuration? and by adjusting the busy threshold in the same trunk group?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Yes...you will need to remove the ports from the trunk group, also you should remove the ds1 assignment for that trunk and you should do "remove sig x" for which ever sig group you have assigned to that pri and remove that also...and you should be good to go. Make sure you check your "sync" first to be sure your sync is not set for primary on the one that your removing..if so change it prior to removing......
