Hi,
I'm having a problem with an ACS 509 / 206E r3.1. We have 4 incoming lines, 3 are plugged into lines 1,2,4 on the ACS 509 the 4th line is plugged into the second line jack on the 206E(which someone marked with an 8?). The problem is we're not getting CID on the line that's plugged into the 206E (outside line 3 on our phones). I called Comcast and the confirmed we should be getting CID on all 4 lines. I went through the service manual and I don't believe there is anything set on line 3 that should be blocking the CID. All phones are the 18D so they are CID capable. I'm beginning to suspect it's the 206E somehow. What I'd like to do is move the line plugged into the 206E (line 3) to the line 3 port on the ACS 509. How do I move that line to the ACS 509 and then program the system so that it shows as line 3 on the phones themselves?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need the 206 to be an EC, not just E. The "E" doesn't support CID. Easiest solution is to simply move that 4th line to the 509.

Now I've read your WHOLE post... Yes, move the line and program the buttons on all phones. If you're not sure how, call your friendly neighborhood Business Partner - they'll fix you up.
