I need to remove a T-1 module from a Partner R7. Is there any special programing that has to be preformed? I will be adding 6 CO lines in its place.

Not that I'm aware of. Shut the system down, pull the mod and rearrange the others from left to right. When the system comes up it should recognize the lines and extensions per the mods. If you have a messaging system you will have to reassign the ports to reflect the movement of modules.

I've only had the pleasure (?!?) of working with the T1 module once, and I was very surprised that it does not have any extension count on it. So if you remove the module, and shift all the others one to the left, you won't have to change anything in regard to the VM ports.

Thank you for your advise. It is scheduled for Friday. We'll see how it goes.
