after conferencing in the pbx, the trunks seem to remain hung up, won't release. eventually all trunks are hung up. currently logging in periodically to release trunks.
i am not a pbx guy. asking for some techs who are on site and getting nowhere.

First your trunks should be ground-start, If not check for last party clear dial tone in cos

Try restricting the interconnect for those trunks. I.E. if you set up your interconnect for say 10 on these trunks, set up interconnect restriction of 10 for interconnect 10 which will release the trunks once you hang up.
