I have been trying to resolve a problem with a Mitel SX-50 system. The problem is that on some external calls the outgoing voice audio is delayed. There are 14 Loop Start trunks to the local telco. There are 26 extensions using Digital Network Interface Circuits.
Have any of you experienced the problem ?
Can it be corrected ?
Will an open in the system ground cause this problem ? Please I need to correct this.

Are you using ARS? or is '9' a direct trunk group access.

ARS is not used.
Dial 9 for access to outside trunk is used.

one thing tocheck is the way your trunks are programmed, on some of the mitels the default trunk type is pulse, this would delay the connection of the call. sometimes you can see this on the card by the light blinking while dialing out.
