This post is going to sound very stupid, but I really do need any advice you can give me.
1) I purchased a Mitel SX-200 at an auction; is there any was of telling what model (D or light) and generic I have?
2) How do I connect actual phones to the back of the unit? Is there some sort of interface I need to purchase that goes between the parallel ports on the back of the machine and the RJ-45s that the Supersets use?
I really appreciate your patience... and thanks in advance =)

1st lets start with the model,
a (D) is a cabinet about the size of a washer or dryer and there are up to 2 of them
a light is about the size of a full tower computer and should have a minimum of 2 cabinets (up to 8)
the newer ml/el is a 19" rack mounted cabinet.
the software revision should be printed on the disk (d or light) or the flash card (ml/el)
the (D) version starts with a gXX.XXX the light and ml/el start with lwXX.X
connection of phones depends on they type of cabinet you have but the basic way it is done is through the use of amphenol connectored 25 pr cables terminated on a backboard (110 or 66). break out of the phones depends on the slot the card you are using.
