I'm the telecom tech person for a rather large facility and the big bosses would like to have music on hold.... my tech experience is a bit limited being that i was "handed down" these duties and there is no other tech person to help... i've made all the changes to the sys config and misc assignment, loaded the e&m trunk card for this purpose.. everything looks good... but.. ahh .. nothing... i have two great mitel techs who dont growl much when i call to pick their brain, but this is over the phone... on the block... this is where i think i am having trouble... i cant seem to find anywhere in the tech manual that shows exactly how this is to be done... maybe one of you guys can help a lil lady out... frustrated in san antonio

I believe that when you enable MOH for the first time you have to reboot the PER Node also. Not the E&M. You'll need to be sure the E&M card circ is strapped for trunk type 5- I can't remember the dip switch settings for type 5 but there are only two switches, experiment if you have to.
