Recently upgraded a Mitel SX200 Light main cabinet to an EL cabinet (LW19) and have a couple of questions:

The Superset 420's seem to have lost their function buttons (redial, Transfer/Conference, etc..)is there a system option/COS option I am missing?

We are using an ELx control card with 2 triple FIM carriers and only have a total of 5 bays. How do I let the system know I am not using bays 6 and 7, like form 53 - Bay Location Assignment in the ICP - what is the equivalent in the EL system? (to make that pesky Major Alarm go away...)

Thanks,

Rich

That's strange
Trans/Conf/Redial are hard coded buttons . They should work with default COS . What model sets are you using ? As far as pesky alarms are concerned have you read the edocs on a "healthy system" ?

OBTW - Thanks for the reply, these are SS420's. Also seems the speaker button needs to be pushed twice to get dial tone over the speaker. I programmed a personal key for voice mail speed-dial and if you press it while the phone is on hook the speaker does not come on.
Very strange -

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Rich

jsaad - For the 420's it was a COS issue. For the alarms I needed to adjust the Alarm Thresholds (Bays 6 & 7 and System) in maintenence.
