Hello,
I am working on a Mitel SX200 and trying to remote into it with a us robotics modem. Pro Comm shows that I am connecting to the switch, but unable to access the programing. I am able to connect via a serial connection and I am using the same settings for the remote. I was wondering is there any special setting I need to set the dip switches for the modem or any special pin out for the cable?
Any help would be great thanks..

In my experience, I almost always have issues with USR modems on 200D and EL. I think it has become a self feeding thing. You know, it never has worked, so it never will work. I scrounge up modems that won't run faster than 9600 and turn off all the compression, etc. That usually works.

Add a null modem adapter to the back of the modem and try again

yes rat shack null modem adapter and
I use a indentical USR modems on both ends
works real good!!

My manager found the pin outs for the cable to connect to the sx200 with a modem and here they are.
Modem 25 male to Db9 200 light
6 to 4
2 to 2
3 to 3
4 to 8
5 to 7
7 to 5
20 to 1 & 6
