Customer has a 200ICP. I set up a phantom bay and installed a phantom ONS card in it to create some phantom extensions that can be used for multi-call keys on IP phones:
Sales rings the 551 button
Support rings the 552 button
etc.

This works fine, but there is constantly a Minor alarm in the system because 100% of the ports in the phantom bay are unavailable. - Is there any way to get the 200 to ignore this for alarms? I did try to set the alarm threshold to 100% but it wouldn't let me.
Thanks,
Bob

Try setting the thresholds to nil,for minor and 1% higher for major and 25% higher for critical . I know that works for the sx2000 and 3300icp ! smile

Thanks
PS there are better ways to add phantom exts . But that is another story !

Like Alex said the thresholds for lines bay and system need to be adjusted. 100 100 0 for the bay and the sytem values will depend on your setup.

Yes, this solved the alarm problem.
Now, OBTW - what is the better method for adding phantom extensions? I can do it with zero-member hunt groups in the 3300, but havent found a better way in the 200ICP than creating Phantom Bays.

What I do is program a phantom PKM on the switch room phone . That gives me about 48 phantom munbers I can add ! If I need more I just put another phantom PKM on another set and program to no ring .
